TIGOSE Preferred Partner H&H Classics opens a new showroom in South West Surrey, with the help of MP Jeremy Hunt and two iconic Ferraris.
Renowned auction house H&H expands in the south of England with a new private classic car sale showroom in Hindhead, Surrey, and takes the opportunity to announce the forthcoming sale of two ex-Richard Colton collection Ferraris, a 250 GT (SWB) and a 275 GTB.
They will be sold at a dedicated auction on October 14 at the Imperial War Museum (Duxford), to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
The two Ferraris, whose value has been climbing steadily over the last ten years, are – together – expected to fetch around £8m.
Entrepreneur and collector Richard Colton, who died recently, left the cars to RNLI in his will; as he had discussed with H&H Classics MD Simon Hope a few years before, the funds raised will go toward the purchase of one lifeboat, possibly even two.
The 1960 Ferrari 250 GT (SWB) Berlinetta (chassis 1995 GT), of which just 167 were made, is one of only ten supplied new to the UK market.
The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB, thought by many to be the ultimate front-engined, Enzo-era Ferrari road car, is one of only 350 ever made, and only 27, including this model, were supplied new to the UK market.
