The visit to TIGOSE Member Envisage was an interesting insight into the activities undertaken by a company which does substantial (and secret) development work for vehicle OEMs and other engineering companies. The confidentiality wrapped around most projects may make life a little challenging for Envisage’s marketing and sales personnel.
However, there are projects Envisage can talk about, and TIGOSE Members and Preferred Partners were treated to:
Two Bentley Zagatos in the paint shop – one in primer (they both looked fantastic)
A swoopy-looking coupé carrying a glamorous badge and under cover; TIGOSE PR Angie Voluti got told off for trying to lift said cover…
Aluminium C-type replica (using riveted and bonded construction)
Body construction facility, strewn with lovely machines representing the last 100 years of workmanship
Run of Aston replicas in aluminium (over steel chassis), using Tig welded construction
A couple of special “off-roaders”
The tour started with a short presentation by new Sales Head Ben Bourdaire; it was organised by Senior Marketing executive Harpreet Suree (who also manages external relations); both Ben and Harpreet were at hand to answer questions during the tour, which was completed by buffet lunch; plenty of opportunities for the attending TIGOSE Members to network, and even gather for a group photo.
